MICHAEL WASHINGTON
The founder of Black Owned Only, a platform and podcast created to spotlight Black entrepreneurs, businesses, and culture. With more than 15 years of experience in filmmaking — spanning commercials, documentaries, short films, and social media content — he uses his skills as a writer, producer, and director to amplify stories that inspire and build visibility for Black ownership.
In addition to Black Owned Only, he leads We Raise Our Kids, a community initiative dedicated to empowering fathers and mentors to be present, positive forces in the lives of youth. Through mentorship, sports, and arts programs, the organization fosters leadership and generational impact, reflecting his mission to blend creativity, entrepreneurship, and community into lasting legacies of ownership and culture.
